Canterbury 3, Gunnery 2

       Canterbury bounced back from Saturday's loss to Hotchkiss with a

hard-earned 3-2 victory over Gunnery today.  Canterbury opened the scoring

in the first period with a pretty power-play goal by Mike Carrano.

Gunnery's Joe Fontanetta evened the score early in the second when he

picked up a loose puck in the slot and snapped it home.  Canterbury

answered four minutes later with two quick goals by Willie Bressete and Joe

Bulmer to take a 3-1 lead.  Willie Zimmerman scored for Gunnery late in

the third on a nice rush down the right side.  From then on, it was all

Brad Roberts in the Canterbury net as he held the fort for the win.
