Westminster 3, Choate 2

-- Sat. Feb. 12, 2000 at Simsbury, Conn.

Phil Lauderdale was the star for Westminster as he turned aside 28 of 30
shots against Choate in Westminster's stunning 3-2 upset.  Lauderdale's
incredible performance was highlighted by a 16 save, zero goal against
second period where the Wild Boars dominated most of the action.  The
Martlets came out on fire with two quick goals in the first, one from
senior captain Tim Joncas, and the other by ever-present junior Jeff
Natale, sent in on a breakaway by a great pass from Mario Caouette. Mark
Szematowicz another goal for Westminster in the second.  Choate came out
strong in the third with goals from Chris Snizek and Dana Quinn, but
Westminster held on to hand Choate it's eighth loss of the season.
