Canterbury 4,  Choate 3 (OT)

 

         Brad Roberts was the story today as he kicked out 41 shots to lead

Canterbury to 4 -3 upset win at Choate.  After Choate had taken a 3-2 lead

in the third period, Chris Evans collected a loose puck in the neutral

zone, carried it down the right side and fed a streaking Anthony Pace at

the doorstep to tie the score with 1:11 left in regulation.  Choate was

all over Canterbury during the overtime, but Roberts held the fort. With

14 seconds left, Canterbury senior defenseman Glen Zuck collected a loose

puck near his own blue line, carried it the length of the ice down the left

wing, deked the Choate defense and snapped home the game winner from the

left dot.  Chris Garceau and Michael Carrano were the other goal scorers

for Canterbury.
