Canterbury 5, Pomfret 4

--- Sat. Jan. 29, 2000 at Canterbury School

Canterbury snapped a four-game losing streak today at home as five
different players scored in the 5-4 win.  After Pomfret's Chris Rodgers
tied the score with one second left in the first period, Canterbury came
out flying in the second and jumped out to a 4-1 lead.  They added to the
lead in the third when Sean Kerry broke in alone to snap one upstairs for
the 5-1 lead two minutes into the period.  Pomfret came roaring back and
owned the rest of the period, scoring three unanswered goals to close the
gap to one, but couldn't get the equalizer.
